Impact

Shaping the future of college baseball.

Since 2018, the Surefire Baseball Forum has connected NCAA Division I administrators with top assistant coaches to grow interest in college baseball and prepare future head coaches. Inspired by the Villa 7 basketball event and supported by college baseball experts, founder Jason Penry launched the forum, which has helped 37 coaches secure their first Division I head coaching roles. Surefire continues to shape the sport through meaningful connections.

Jason Penry, Founder of Surefire

"Leadership matters. I am grateful for the administrators that share their time each year to prepare the next generation of leaders and grow the 167-year old game of college baseball. Surefire is possible because of outstanding volunteer leadership and the annual investment by our partners. Our success has been a true team effort."
